WELCOME!

Namaste! My name is Sanne and I’m a 500-hour Yoga Alliance Registered Yoga Teacher. I trained at AYM Yoga Teacher Training  at the home of Yoga, Rishikesh in India.   
 

I teach a wide variety of yoga styles including Hatha, Yin Yoga, Ashtanga, Kundalini, Vinyasa Flow, Iyengar, and Restorative Yoga. I am also a Pregnancy (pre-natal) Yoga Teacher.
 

I am also trained in teaching Meditation, Mindfulness and Breath Work (Pranayama), which are all vital for deep relaxation. I safely help students with their health and wellness goals, as well as healing through yoga asana (poses). I am also able to enhance classes via the use of Sacred Sound Healing Bowls and the HAPI drum.
 

As well as offering private yoga classes, I offer corporate yoga packages and hands on healing via the power of Reiki. I am also a Certified EFT Master (Emotional Freedom Technique), Crystal Healer, Law of Attraction Coach, and Self Love Coach.

 

MY JOURNEY TO BECOMING A YOGA TEACHER

I first found yoga as a child, but I did not know it was called yoga! My Indian mother used to practice each morning and I loved nothing better than spending time with her stretching. As years went on, and I grew older, my interest in yoga dissipated.

  

In 2009 I restarted yoga; however, it was part of a fitness/gym routine and it was never consistent. If I am honest, I preferred running and really working up a sweat, instead of “stretching”. It wasn't until six years later that I really immersed myself into daily yoga practice.
 

After years of working in corporate London, I was chronically stressed. This affected all areas of my life and in 2015 I decided that I should join a yoga studio and get back into yoga and meditation.

Joining a yoga studio helped me re-connect with myself. I was beginning to see that there was more to life. I was able to heal emotionally, physically and spiritually. Not only did I notice these changes, but others also could see the difference yoga and meditation had made to my life.

So, after three years of regular practice I decided to leave my job in the Civil Service. I bought a ticket to India and followed my dream of becoming a yoga teacher. In India I was immersed for two months in daily yoga practice. Not only did I learn about the postures, but I learnt about the yogic philosophy and how to incorporate it into my life. Leaving everything behind and giving up a comfortable salary was not easy, but I knew that I was on the path to becoming my greatest version.
 

Because of this amazing journey, I am so inspired and motivated to give the gift of yoga and meditation to everyone I come into contact with.
