Invest in yourself and your employees' health through yoga and mindfulness.

It’s a busy world we live in today, with increasing demands on employers and employees alike. I myself spent many years working in the corporate world (private and public sector) and know what it’s like to spend hours hunched over a computer, rarely leaving our desks for a break, travelling long hours, skipping meals and constantly have our ears glued to our phones. After a while these “habits” take their toll on our mind and bodies as a form of stress, tension and sickness. Especially working in London, I felt my body get stressed just by leaving the house and getting on the train to work!

Whilst a small amount of stress can actually help us meet those deadlines, too much stress can actually be detrimental to our health and can interfere with our mental and physical abilities. How we respond to stress can have a huge impact on our well-being, this is why I actually came to yoga myself. I was diagnosed with a chronic disease and needed to find a way to de-stress while working in the City.  Yoga is scientifically proven to reduce stress (chronic and acute), and this is why I believe every business should incorporate yoga into their working day.

Benefits of Corporate Yoga

  • Employees gain more energy, and as a result, more productive

  • There are less sickness and absences

  • The concentration, decision-making skills and ability to multi-task is greater

  • Improves employee alertness and ability to react more calmly in demanding situations

  • Relief of head, neck and back strain, carpal tunnel syndrome, insomnia, high blood pressure and work-related injuries from repetitive motion

  • Better customer service

  • Enhanced employee attitude and outlook

  • General well-being in the workplace which reduces employee turnover

Why book Corporate Yoga with me?

As already mentioned, I am totally aware of what it is like working in the corporate world. I am also conscious of all the back, neck and all other aches and pains associated with working in an office environment.

My office yoga classes are fun, and I like to mix gentle movements and stretches to open the upper and lower back, shoulders, wrists and neck, this allows your body to stretch out and free up tight muscles and joints. It is also a great way of boosting circulation. Lastly, breathing exercises (Pranayama) are also beneficial as it helps replenish the nervous system and will clear the mind before you get back to your desk.

How to book?

Its simple. Just drop me an email or give me a call on 07522 852 101 to discuss corporate yoga, pricing and availability. Corporate yoga sessions can be booked as a block of classes, or as a regular weekly slot. I have some forms which will need to be filled and completed prior to our first class, you can find these here.

Please note, you will need to provide mats and props for your staff, however I am happy to help give you guidance on where the best deals are.
